The Beginning of the end...

So in my spring junior semester at Colgate, I got really into sunflecks. I mean REALLY into sunflecks. I had never done research, I had no concept of academia or careers in botany. I was just a shlub in a greenhouse with a Licor (still am really).

The other picture is a second project I did on ecophys of dioecious cycads at the Montgomery Botanical Center.
These projects were in collaboration with
Dr. Eddie Watkins at Colgate University.
